NARIS 30-30 PANEL GREAT TALK!!

Wendell,

Thanks for the talk last night at NARAS; I enjoyed it very much. I've been working in
this business for close to 30 years, first as a session piano/synth player, then as a
composer/arranger.
I found myself shaking my head in agreement many times last night. You really do have to
keep that "intern" mentality. Even though I never interned anywhere, I still try to keep
the attitude of
the new kid, trying new things and being enthusiastic about every opportunity.
Do you ever farm stuff out or need a piano player/composer/arranger? I'd love the
opportunity to come up and give you my reel, or I guess I'll have to play or compose
directly in front of you.
I've been writing for a bunch of music houses around town; Pink Noise, Wildvine/Three
Tree, Horowitz, Deep Diner....stuff for the Greco brothers........
You can check out my website at www.joncobert.com and let me know what you think.

Again, thanks for the talk, and I hope to see you soon.

Jon Cobert
