GRAMMY 30 30 PANEL VERY INSIGHTFUL

Wendell,

My name is John Seymour and I attended your panel discussion last night at the Recording Academy. I found the discussion to be very insightful and informative, and your work was very impressive. I look forward to talking & hopefully working with you in some capacity in the future. I'm going to pick up your book A.S.A.P. Hopefully Barnes & Noble have it in stock.

I have worked in the Recording Industry for 16 years as a Producer, Engineer, Mixer, and Mastering Engineer. I won a Grammy with Santana, and have had the great fortune to have worked with Artists like U2, Dave Matthews Band, & The Mighty Mighty Bosstones to name a few, I was a staff Engineer at Electric Lady from 92'-99', and have been working as a freelance Producer/Engineer/Mixer ever since.

As I'm sure you are aware, the Record Industry has been in steep decline for several years, and I have been looking for other ways to "keep the lights on", while continuing my passion for creating music. I recently teamed up with a composer that I consider to be a musical genius & already has a few major commercials under his belt. We have 24 hour access to a great studio in Hoboken, an amazing roster of session musicians, and the experience & desire to succeed. We plan on ramping things up over the coming months and compiling an arsenal of music that we hope to place, or at the very least attract the attention of the powers that be in the Advertising Industry. Any help or advice you could give would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You for sharing your ideas, and I hope we can collaborate in some way in the future!!!

Best,

John
